On the first day of caring for the patient, our field nurse is preceptor to the case by our specialist who subsequently provide oversight to ensure that the appropriate and required care is given to the patient according to written plan of care for the specified patient.
Duties of registered and licensed practical nurses involve, but are not limited to the following
- Planning and implementation of personalized health care plan
- Consulting with patient’s doctors and other health care specialists
- Giving instructions to caregivers with regards to patient’s care plan
- Administering of patient’s medication
- Administering of complex medical treatments and procedures
- Monitoring vitals
- Checking temperature and pulse
